By accessing or using LensSpace Studios services (including booking studio time, requesting quotes, or interacting with our platform), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Scope
These Terms govern your use of LensSpace Studios and any studio rentals facilitated via our platform. They apply to individuals and entities who browse, inquire, book, or otherwise use our services.
If any part of these Terms conflicts with a signed, written agreement between you and LensSpace Studios, the signed agreement will control for that specific conflict.
Eligibility
You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Booking & Payments
All prices are per hour unless stated otherwise. Overtime may be billed in 30-minute increments. You are responsible for confirming the booking details (date, start/end time, add-ons, and occupancy limits) before payment.
Deposits, refunds, and cancellations
Some bookings require a deposit. Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the studio, time of cancellation, and any custom terms disclosed at checkout or in a written confirmation.
Late arrival & overtime
Your booked time includes setup and breakdown. Late arrival does not extend the booking window. If your session runs over, overtime charges may apply, and we may require you to end the session promptly if the space is needed for the next client.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback, you agree to provide requested documentation related to the booking and to work with us in good faith to resolve disputes. We may suspend access while a dispute is pending.
Conduct
Respect the space and neighbors. Follow safety guidance and building policies. No hazardous materials.
Prohibited activities
You may not use the services to engage in unlawful, abusive, or unsafe behavior, including attempts to damage property, interfere with equipment, bypass security controls, or harass staff or other clients.
Equipment & property care
Handle equipment responsibly. Do not move heavy fixtures without permission. If you bring third-party gear, you are responsible for ensuring it is safe and suitable for the space.
Noise, guests, and occupancy
Keep noise at reasonable levels and adhere to maximum occupancy rules. You are responsible for the behavior of your crew, clients, talent, vendors, and visitors.
Liability
Users are responsible for damages caused by their crew or vendors. This includes damage to the studio, equipment, building common areas, or neighboring spaces that results from your booking activities.
Assumption of risk
Studio work may involve cables, lighting stands, heavy objects, and time-sensitive activity. You agree to take reasonable precautions and assume the risks inherent to production activities.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LensSpace Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LensSpace Studios from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your booking, your content or conduct, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes
We may update terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
Notice
When updates are material, we may provide additional notice (for example via an on-site banner or email if you have provided a contact address). The Effective date at the top reflects the current version.
